According to a witness account reported by WFAA, Williams appeared “robotic” and allegedly confessed to shooting Thomas when apprehended at a hotel.
In a Facebook post, Curtis King, founder of TBAAL, stated that Thomas is “going to be okay” and urged fans to pray for her recovery. He described the atmosphere at the performance as festive until the shocking incident.
Police have recovered a handgun, and the investigation continues. The nature of any prior relationship between Thomas and Williams remains unclear.
As per online records, Williams remains in custody at Dallas County Jail with a bond set at $200,000. It is still unclear if she has retained legal counsel.
