Gal Gadot Defends AI, Says Hollywood Must Adapt
Follow spoken words in real time.
Gal Gadot, an actress known for her role in Wonder Woman, has spoken in favour of using artificial intelligence (AI) in making films. She talked about this while promoting her new film called 'Bitcoin' (also called 'Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi'), which uses AI in its production. Gadot said that people in the film industry should learn to use AI, or they may not be able to work in Hollywood anymore.
This started because the 'Bitcoin' film, directed by Doug Liman, was made in a new way. The film was shot in only 20 days, and most scenes were filmed on an empty stage. Later, the filmmakers used AI to create the sets and lights on computers instead of building real ones. This saved the production about $200 million compared to usual film-making methods.
As a result, Gal Gadot asked for rules in her contract to make sure that AI could not change her look or voice in the film. She said learning about AI is important, and people should try to use it carefully, instead of ignoring it.
