Follow spoken words in real time.
The Princess of Wales visited Reggio Emilia in northern Italy this week. This was her first trip abroad alone since finishing cancer treatment. Many people gathered to see her, showing strong international interest as she returns to public duties.
The main aim of the visit was to support early childhood education worldwide. The Princess learned about the "Reggio Emilia approach" and visited local preschools. She also saw creative recycling centres that give materials for projects with children.
The city’s mayor gave her the highest civic honour at a town hall ceremony. The Princess’s foundation hopes to expand its work and research outside the United Kingdom in the future.
