In New York City, singer Taylor Swift and American football player Travis Kelce got married at Madison Square Garden. The wedding was led by actor Adam Sandler and about 1,000 guests attended, including stars from music, film, and sports. Taylor’s brother Austin was her man of honour, and Travis’s brother Jason was the best man.

The main reason for the large event was that Swift and Kelce are both very famous in entertainment and sport. Their wedding brought together two important parts of pop culture: music and football.

As a result of the wedding, fans gathered outside the arena, some singing Swift’s songs and waiting for hours in the heat to see the couple or guests. After the ceremony, a sign outside said “JUST&T MARRIED” and the building was lit in pink and lavender.
