Enflame Technology, a large artificial intelligence chip company from China, has sold new shares of its company to the public for the first time. This is called an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company raised about $908 million (6.1 billion yuan) in Shanghai on the STAR Market, which is a special place for technology companies. The online demand for shares was very high, with so many people wanting to buy that it was over 6,100 times more than what the company offered.

The main reason for this strong interest is because China wants to grow its own technology companies. In recent years, the United States made rules making it harder for China to buy important AI chips and machines. Because of these trade rules, China supports its own companies like Enflame, which makes computer chips for artificial intelligence.

Because of the successful IPO, Enflame now has new money to develop more advanced AI chips. The company said it will use the funds to work on new generations of computer chips. This is expected to help China become more independent in making important technology for the future.
