In Los Angeles and other places, more people are buying DVDs and Blu-ray discs again after years of lower sales. Collector's editions and 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays are selling better in recent months. This is unusual because many people have been using streaming services like Netflix to watch films and television shows at home.

The main reason for this change is that streaming services often remove films and shows from their libraries. People become frustrated when they can no longer find their favourite shows because of licensing changes.

As a result, many consumers now choose to buy physical discs. Owning a DVD or Blu-ray means the film cannot disappear, and people can watch their favourite movies anytime, without worrying about internet connection or extra subscription costs.
