Two of the biggest companies in Hollywood, Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery, will soon become one company called Skydance. This news comes after a judge in the United States agreed to their $110 billion deal, which removed an important legal problem. The new Skydance company will own famous studios, television channels like CBS and CNN, and streaming services such as Paramount+ and HBO Max.

This happened mainly because Paramount Skydance wanted to join with Warner Bros. Discovery to become stronger and have more films and television shows to offer. By joining together, the companies hope to share resources and work better against competitors like Netflix, Disney, and Amazon.

As a result of the merger, Skydance will control many popular films and television programmes, such as Mission: Impossible and Harry Potter. The company will face big challenges, such as managing $80 billion in debt and finding ways to save money.
