Two senior officials from Reform UK, a political party, have left their jobs after an undercover investigation by Channel 4 News. The officials are James Orr, head of policy, and Dan Jukes, an assistant to the party’s leader, Nigel Farage. The investigation showed secret video where Jukes talked about letting an overseas company pay for political polling, which may break UK election rules.

The main reason this happened is because UK law does not allow political donations from foreign sources. The undercover reporter heard party officials discussing ways to use money from outside the UK without breaking the law. Nigel Farage was present at a meeting and said the plans seemed correct, but the video caused concern.

As a result, Reform UK started its own investigation to look at these claims. The police in London have also said they are aware of the reports about possible illegal donations. Reform UK denies doing anything wrong but now faces questions about how it gets its money and if it follows election rules.
