Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is gearing up for an exciting event – NASA’s Boeing Starliner Crewed Flight Test (CFT) scheduled for June 1, 2024, at 12:25 PM. This milestone launch for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program will send two astronauts to the International Space Station aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft for the first time.
Launch viewing opportunities are available with the purchase of premium Launch Transportation Tickets, offering exclusive access to witness the liftoff of the Atlas V rocket. Please note that due to the launch, the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour will be unavailable on June 1, 2024.
The Crew Flight Test aims to demonstrate the capabilities of Boeing’s Starliner and United Launch Alliance’s Atlas V rocket in safely transporting astronauts to and from the ISS. Following a successful test flight, NASA will certify the spacecraft and systems for regular crew rotation flights to the space station.
