Devon Walker Leaves SNL
Devon Walker, a cast member of Saturday Night Live (SNL), said he will leave the show after three years. He made this announcement before the new season starts on October 4.
Walker shared his feelings on Instagram. He said, "I had three good years, but it was sometimes very hard, too." He added, "It was time for me to try something new."
Devon joined SNL in 2022. He is known for his funny impressions of celebrities, like New York City Mayor Eric Adams and former NFL player Michael Strahan.
In addition to Walker, other cast members are also leaving the show. For example, writers Rosebud Baker and Celeste Yim announced they will not return for the new season. Baker talked about how stressful it was to write for SNL’s “Weekend Update.” Yim shared their joy about working at SNL but also mentioned it was hard work.
Many fans are sad to see these changes but wish them all the best for the future.
