When I heard that 50,000 people were waiting in line to get into Casa Bonita restaurant, I was confused. Why would so many people want to go there? The only restaurant I would wait in line for is King’s Food Host, but it closed a long time ago.
Casa Bonita has a pool and cliffs where divers jump every 20 minutes. I have some good memories there, but my first visit didn’t go so well. The food made me sick.
Despite my experiences, I can understand the nostalgia people have for Casa Bonita. It holds a special place in many people’s hearts, including mine. Some renovations have been made, and now the restaurant has a new vibe for adults who grew up going there.
People from all over the country are coming to Denver just to visit Casa Bonita. It has become a popular tourist spot, especially for fans of the TV show “South Park.”
Overall, I may consider giving the new Casa Bonita a try. But only if they add the Cheese Frenchee to the menu!
