Paradox Interactive and Paradox Tectonic have cancelled the highly-anticipated life simulation game, “Life by You.” The game, which was set to be released on PC through platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store, faced multiple delays before ultimately being scrapped.

Deputy CEO Mattias Lilja expressed regret over the decision to cancel the game, citing a failure to meet both the company’s and the community’s expectations. Despite the game showing promising qualities, the team felt that more time and effort would not bring it up to the standard they desired.

Lilja emphasized the importance of delivering fun and challenging games to players, acknowledging that mistakes may happen in the development process. Moving forward, the company plans to analyze what went wrong with “Life by You” and make necessary changes to ensure better future releases.

Fans of life simulation games will have to wait for a new title to fill the void left by the cancellation of “Life by You.” This decision has disappointed many fans who were eagerly looking forward to the game’s release. Paradox Interactive is committed to learning from this experience to improve their future games and meet player expectations.
