Trump Creates a “Super Intelligence” Task Force
Follow spoken words in real time.
The United States government has created a new group to study artificial intelligence, or AI. President Donald Trump chose Jay Clayton, who leads national intelligence, to be in charge. The group is called the "Super Intelligence Force." It will look at both the good and bad sides of AI, and it has 120 days to write a report on how AI might affect safety in the country.
The main reason for this new group is that AI technology is changing very quickly, and leaders want to understand and control it. AI can do many things by itself, so there are worries about security risks, computer attacks, and problems if these systems stop working correctly.
The main result is that this group will give advice to President Trump and other top officials. The United States hopes to be stronger in AI than China and other countries. The group will talk to many people, including companies and public groups, before they finish the report in four months.
