On Friday, several flights across Europe were affected by bomb threats. Security teams checked planes, and in some cases, flight routes changed. No dangerous objects were found, and nobody was hurt.

These bomb threats happened because unknown people sent warnings about possible bombs on planes. European officials, including the European Union’s transport commissioner, said there were 11 threats on Friday. Some flights were even escorted by fighter jets, and one plane flying from Prague, Czech Republic, to Rome, Italy, had to land in Venice for checks.

Because of these threats, there were delays and changes to normal flight schedules, but most flights continued after checks. French police also inspected four planes, but all landed safely. European aviation officials now want to talk about better ways to deal with these threats in the future.
