Rick Moranis: A Beloved Canadian Actor
Rick Moranis is a famous Canadian actor. He is best known for his funny roles in movies from the 1980s. He became popular after his work on the show "Second City Television" (SCTV). Moranis acted in many famous movies like "Ghostbusters" and "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids."
Even though he was not in many big movies for a long time, Rick surprised fans by appearing in the ABC show "The Goldbergs." In this show, he played Dark Helmet, a character he first made famous in "Spaceballs."
In "The Goldbergs," Adam (played by Sean Giambrone) starts a club for Mel Brooks fans. In one episode, he fights Dark Helmet using a pretend lightsaber. Moranis returned to voice Dark Helmet after many years.
Rick Moranis will also be in "Spaceballs 2," coming out in 2027. This will be 40 years after the first "Spaceballs" movie. He is excited to entertain fans again.
