The Super Mario Maker community on Nintendo’s Wii U platform has managed to clear all the levels before the online shutdown. This included the completion of a challenging level titled ‘Trimming the Herbs.’
A renowned group in the gaming community, called ‘Team 0%,’ had achieved the feat of clearing all other stages earlier. The final obstacle was ‘Trimming the Herbs,’ considered an “illegitimate upload” due to its extreme difficulty.
Overcoming the challenge required not just extraordinary skills but determination and a sense of community spirit. Among the many dedicated players, one player by the name ‘sanyx91smm2’ successfully completed the level, as celebrated by the community on Reddit. A video featuring ‘sanyx91smm2’ completing the level in a flawless 25-second run was also shared.
However, as the gaming community pointed out, this level was a tool-assisted speedrun. So, ‘The Last Dance,’ another level cleared by a different player ‘Yamada_SMM2’ on 15th March 2024, stood up as the final legitimate upload.
Before the final shutdown next week, the Super Mario Maker community had managed to wrap up every level, leaving it on a high note. The gaming community cheerfully looks forward to the next adventure on the horizon, Super Mario Maker 2.
