A&E, a TV network, has decided to fight back against Wendy Williams’ guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. This is due to a bitter fight over a TV show called “Where Is Wendy Williams?”
Morrissey tried to stop the TV show. She thinks the network is using Williams’ personal stories in a bad way. But A&E says Williams agreed to the show before she got sick with dementia. They also think Morrissey is stopping the company’s right to free speech.
Williams is very sick now. She has a disease that affects her thinking and behaviour. She is not able to care for herself. Morrissey takes care of her health and money.
Morrissey tried to stop “Where Is Wendy Williams?” from being aired but she did not succeed. Many people think the show was unfair to Williams. They believe she was paid a small amount for it and that she was treated poorly.
Morrissey plans to continue the fight in court. She says A&E took advantage of Williams and treated her cruelly.
But A&E says they had Williams’ permission to make the TV show. They also accuse Morrissey of not protecting Williams.
Currently, Williams is not appearing in public very often. She has asked her fans to give her peace and space.
