The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is looking into a close call between two planes in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident happened at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Saturday.

Delta flight 1070 was landing when it got a warning in the cockpit. This happened around 11 a.m. The flight was coming from Detroit and had 245 people on board.

At the same time, United flight 1724 was also landing. It had 123 passengers and was coming from San Francisco.

The planes were very close to each other. They were 1,217 feet apart, which is less than a quarter mile. Both planes landed safely after the warning.
