Russia has told foreign diplomats and foreign citizens to leave Kyiv immediately. This warning says there will be new attacks on military and government buildings in the Ukrainian capital. People are also being advised to stay away from military areas because the conflict has become more serious.
The warning comes after a weekend attack with about 90 missiles and 600 drones. At least four people died and over 100 were injured in different parts of Ukraine. Important buildings in Kyiv, like the National Chernobyl Museum, were damaged.
Russian officials said these planned strikes are a response to a recent Ukrainian attack in Luhansk. Some foreign nationals have started to leave, but the European Union’s diplomatic team will stay in Kyiv for now. The situation in the city is still very tense.
