In the last part of the fifth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar) goes to her room to get ready for a date. Her sister Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg) is in her room. But Buffy has never had a sister before. This is surprising for viewers.
Dawn’s story is important for the fifth season. Glory (Clare Kramer) is the main villain. She is a bad goddess looking for a Key that can destroy the world. The Key is turned into a girl, Dawn, to protect her.
Dawn has many problems. She often gets into trouble and joins bad friends. But she has a special bond with Buffy. In one episode, they fight but still love each other. Trachtenberg shows the strong emotions of her character, making Dawn important to the story.
