He explains that the Game Master has a lot of power in this game. The role is always changing based on the events in the game.

Players of Helldivers 2 have always wondered how the “liberation” of the galaxy works. Players can see changes in the game based on their actions. But now they understand that Joel is planning and controlling everything.

Sometimes things in the game do not go as planned. “For example, if a planet was too easy or too tough, Joel would wake up in the middle of the night and make adjustments,” said Pilestedt.
