NJPAC’s Holiday Magic Transforms Newark into a Winter Wonderland

Share

Saturday in Newark was very cold, like the North Pole. NJPAC was like Santa’s Village, hosting two fun Christmas events.

The first event was the New Jersey Symphony’s “Elf in Concert.” This event featured music from the movie “Elf.” The movie is very popular, and many people love it.

The orchestra played the music well. The music helped tell the story of Buddy the Elf. It was fun to hear the musicians play as Buddy did funny things on screen.

Watching “Elf” with over 1,700 fans made it special. Many people came in “Elf” costumes. They laughed and cried together. It showed that watching movies in a big crowd is still enjoyable.

Next door, another concert took place. The group Chanticleer sang Christmas songs. They sang old and new songs, with beautiful voices.

Their music made everyone feel happy and festive. As Buddy the Elf says, “Singing is just like talking, but louder!”
