Aidan Bowmen, a freshman at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, has been singing since he was young. He started playing the guitar after his brother passed away, to honor him. His mother, Crystal, says he has a passion for music and has been giving her home concerts. She was so impressed by one of his performances that she encouraged him to audition for American Idol. Aidan got a call-back and ended up auditioning in Los Angeles for Season 22. Despite feeling nervous, he was grateful for the experience. With his first single released, he is now focused on furthering his music career. He wants to create music that everyone can relate to and hopes to be appreciated in five years.
