Despite his inability to perform, Springsteen expressed gratitude to his fans in Ireland, the UK, and Wales for their support during the recent shows. He also announced that the postponed shows in Prague and Milan would be rescheduled, with new dates to be announced soon. Springsteen’s next scheduled performance is set for June 12 in Madrid.
This latest setback comes after Springsteen’s battle with peptic ulcer disease in 2023, which caused him to postpone over 20 performances last year. In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio, he expressed his fears about his ability to sing again but credited his doctors for helping him overcome the challenges.
