Casandra Ventura, a singer and model, shared her story on the second day of her testimony in the trial against Sean Combs, her former boyfriend. She spoke about a serious incident that happened in a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016.
Ms. Ventura described how Mr. Combs became violent, kicking and dragging her in the hotel hallway. She said that after the incident, she took a selfie in an Uber which showed her injured lip. Mr. Combs then texted her many times, asking her to call him.
“Please stay far away from me,” she responded, telling him that his behavior was wrong.
When Ms. Ventura got home, her friend called the police for her. Later, Combs showed up at her apartment, making a scene, banging on the door.
Two days later, she attended a movie premiere for a film called “The Perfect Match,” wearing makeup to cover her bruises. Ms. Ventura had previously sued Mr. Combs over similar accusations.
