This winter, there are no nonstopflights available because both Delta Air Lines and Hawaiian Airlines stopped their services. However, Delta recently announced it will return its Boston to Honolulu flights. The airline confirmed on Friday that it will restart this route from Boston Logan International Airport to Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, ahead of the 2026 holiday season.
This route will be the longest domestic flight in America and is a seasonal service Delta offered once before from 2024 to early 2025. Additionally, Delta revealed it will also offer direct flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Maui starting this winter.
Both routes will launch on December 19, just before Christmas. Delta will run the Boston-Honolulu flights four times a week during the winter, with daily flights during peak travel times. The airline will use an Airbus A330-300 for these flights, which has various seating options.
Delta plans to enhance its Hawaii services next winter, including more flights to Honolulu from Atlanta, Detroit, and New York. This means that the New York area will no longer have the longest flights to Hawaii, although many nonstop options will still be available from nearby airports.
