Forgan and Kirkby Set New Record at Oberhof World Cup Last Weekend | Sports News

The Luge World Cup took place in Oberhof, Germany last weekend. Sophia Kirkby and Chevonne Forgan from Team USA did very well. They set a new start record with a time of 7.625 seconds in the women’s doubles event. They also came fifth in the sprint women’s doubles race.

Many other athletes participated as well. Germany’s Dajana Eitberger and Saskia Schirmer came first in the women’s doubles event while Emily Sweeney, also from Team USA, finished sixth in the women’s singles sprint race.

Tucker West, Sean Hollander, and Zack DiGregorio from the United States did well. West came tenth in the men’s singles event. Hollander and DiGregorio ended up eighth in the men’s doubles event.

All the athletes showed great skill and sportsmanship in the different events. It made the competition a great success. The World Cup will continue in the upcoming weeks, and we can look forward to more exciting races from these athletes.

In conclusion, the American athletes did an impressive job at the World Cup. They showed a lot of promise for the rest of the competition. It was a proud moment for Team USA, and we can’t wait to see how they will do in the following events.
