EXCLUSIVE: Greenwich Entertainment bought the North American rights to Omaha. This is a family drama starring John Magaro from Past Lives. The film did well at the Sundance Film Festival. It will be in theaters later this year.

Omaha is set during the 2008 economic crisis. It tells the story of a father (Magaro) who goes on a road trip with his two children, Ella and Charlie. They travel across the American West to find hope and a better life. As the journey goes on, deeper feelings of grief and resilience come to light. Ella starts to think her father may be hiding something important.

Robert Machoian wrote the film. It is produced by Sanctuary Content with support from other companies. The film has won awards at film festivals. Pete Hammond from Deadline praised Magaro’s performance, saying it is very moving.

Director Cole Webley expressed excitement about sharing Omaha with audiences. He praised the actors, especially John Magaro, for their great work.
