“WWE SmackDown” will have a new temporary home on Friday nights due to the 2026 Winter Olympics. Normally, the show airs on the USA Network, but the channel is showing Olympic events 24 hours a day until February 22. Most scripted shows are paused during this period, making it necessary for “SmackDown” to find a different broadcast channel.
You can now watch “Friday Night SmackDown” on the Syfy channel for the broadcasts on February 13 and February 20. The show will still start at 8 p.m. ET, and viewers can access it with any cable package that includes Syfy.
If you do not have cable or want to watch online, you can use DirecTV. It offers over 90 live channels, including Syfy, and allows streaming on various devices. There is also a five-day free trial available, which lets you watch “SmackDown” without cost.
Another option is Sling. Its Sling Blue package costs $54.99 per month and includes Syfy along with 40 other channels. Sling Blue allows streaming on up to three devices and includes a recording feature.
After the episodes air, they will be available on-demand on Peacock, the official streaming partner for WWE. “SmackDown” will return to USA Network starting with the episode on February 27, just before the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in Chicago.
