Jack Osbourne, the son of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon, has named his newborn daughter after his late father. The baby, Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, was born recently, and Jack shared the announcement on social media. He married Aree, the baby’s mother, earlier this year. A photo of the baby shows her next to a cuddly bat toy, a nod to Ozzy Osbourne’s famous incident when he bit the head off a bat during a concert in 1982, thinking it was a fake.
Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2025, just 17 days after a farewell concert with his iconic heavy metal band, Black Sabbath. Throughout this year’s awards season, many have paid tribute to him. At the Grammy Awards, a supergroup featuring Post Malone and other musicians performed Black Sabbath’s hit “War Pigs,” while Jack, Sharon, and Kelly Osbourne watched from the audience.
The Brit Awards also featured a tribute, with Robbie Williams singing Ozzy’s solo song “No More Tears.” Sharon and Kelly introduced this performance, describing Ozzy as “authentic, gifted, totally unpredictable, a wild man, a true artist,” and the “most humble egomaniac” they had ever met.
Jack and Kelly gained fame on the reality show “The Osbournes,” which displayed their family’s unique dynamics. Kelly pursued a successful music career, while Jack hosted several reality TV shows, including his own series, “Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie,” and produced a documentary about his father, titled “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne.” In November 2025, Jack appeared on the reality show “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” and finished in sixth place.
