Actor Jack Quaid, best known for his role in “The Boys,” stars in the new action film “Novocaine,” where he plays Nathan Cain, a man who can’t feel pain due to a rare medical condition. The movie is a mix of action and horror, with intense violence and gore.

Quaid shared that the film also features a heartfelt romance between his character and Sherry. He emphasized the importance of believing in their relationship to fully enjoy the action-packed scenes. As the story unfolds, Nathan uses his unique condition as a superpower to rescue his kidnapped love interest, leading to a physically demanding role for Quaid.

Despite the film’s setting appearing to be in San Diego, it was actually filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. Quaid advised watching “Novocaine” on the big screen to truly appreciate its visuals. He mentioned that the production was a demanding experience, requiring a lot of stunt training and physical preparation.

On a different note, Quaid confirmed that the fifth season of “The Boys” is currently in production. Fans of the Amazon Prime Video series can look forward to more superhero action from the talented actor.
