Marvel Maximum Collection is being developed for the Nintendo Switch. The exact release date is not yet known.
This collection includes thirteen games, and it will feature both classic console and handheld versions. Players will also enjoy new features that enhance the gaming experience.
Among the games included are X-Men: The Arcade Game, which supports online multiplayer for up to six players. Players can choose their favourite X-Man to battle Magneto’s forces. Another title is Captain America and The Avengers, which allows gamers to control characters like Iron Man and Hawkeye in different arcade and platforming versions.
Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage lets players fight in New York City while enjoying a 16-bit soundtrack. There is also Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety, where players can team up in two-player mode to defeat enemies. The collection includes Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge as well, which features handheld versions that showcase Marvel’s gaming history. Lastly, Silver Surfer presents a challenging shooter experience with an excellent 8-bit soundtrack.
New features include a digital archive of original box art and manuals, a music player with scores from all games, and tools to rewind gameplay and save anytime. Players can also choose different display options for a unique look.
