As the sun went down over a beautiful part of Costa Del Sol, some young golf players were starting their careers. Over 250 young golf stars from all over the world came together. They hoped to win the Daily Mail World Junior Golf Championship trophy.
The event took place at the Villa Padierna golf course in Marbella. It was a beautiful but hard course. There were three exciting days of golf. Every player had a different story.
One player, Fraser Walters, played really well. He scored eight shots better than anyone else in the 12-13 Boys competition. Fraser had some health problems just before the tournament started. Despite this, he played really well.
There were a lot of exciting moments at the tournament. Some games even ended in a draw. In these cases, there was a playoff to decide the winner.
All these young golfers hope to become professionals someday. Maybe they will be future stars of golf.
