King hosts garden party with senior royals, but Prince Harry misses reunion

Prince Harry attended a service at St Paul’s Cathedral in the UK with his mother Diana’s relatives while the King and Queen hosted a garden party. The Duke of Sussex, 39, traveled to the UK for the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary service, but his wife Meghan Markle and their children did not accompany him. Meanwhile, a few miles away, Charles welcomed guests at the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the year.

The King and his son did not meet during Harry’s UK visit due to the King’s busy schedule, according to Harry’s spokesman. Despite reports of trust issues, the spokesman’s statement had a conciliatory tone, expressing hope for a future meeting. Among the service guests were Diana’s siblings and Mark Dyer, a mentor figure to Harry.

This visit marks Harry’s first time in the UK since February, when he briefly visited the King over health issues. The royal family’s interactions continue to spark curiosity and speculation, hinting at underlying tensions and complexities within the monarchy.
