A software company in Russia has invited a seven-year-old boy named Sergey to join its team. Sergey is a coding prodigy from St. Petersburg. He started posting videos about writing software when he was just five years old.
Because of his videos, a company called Pro32 offered him a job as the head of corporate training. However, in Russia, children cannot work for money until they are 14 years old.
The CEO of Pro32, Igor Mandik, spoke with Sergey’s parents. They want to find ways to work together before Sergey turns 14. Igor said Sergey’s father, Kirill, was happy about this opportunity.
In his videos, Sergey looks happy and smiles a lot. He talks about coding and explains things step-by-step. Many people watch his channel to learn programming languages like Python and Unity. They also want to learn about neural networks, which are important for artificial intelligence.
Igor believes Sergey is very talented at coding and teaching. He thinks Sergey will be a great teacher by the time he turns 14. Igor said they will discuss salary when the time comes.
