On Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, the April Community Day will showcase Tinkatink, a new Pokémon from Generation 9. This event allows players to evolve Tinkatuff, Tinkatink’s evolution, into Tinkaton, which will have the powerful Charged Attack called Gigaton Hammer.
Tinkaton is a dual Fairy and Steel-type Pokémon that features a unique hammer design. Its typing gives it an impressive defensive profile with 11 resistances, including a notable resilience against Bug and Dragon-type attacks. This makes it a valuable addition to players’ teams, especially in battles.
Before this Community Day, Tinkaton struggled to make an impact in player-versus-environment (PvE) scenarios due to its low Attack stat of 155 and a max combat power of 2544. However, the introduction of Gigaton Hammer, which boasts a power of 300, significantly enhances Tinkaton’s combat effectiveness. It transforms the Pokémon into a formidable Steel attacker, making it relevant in the game.
Moreover, if players participate in Party Play during the event, Tinkaton’s performance improves further thanks to a bonus for raid battles. There is also the potential for Tinkaton to gain new moves in future updates, which could enhance its capabilities even more.
Trainers are encouraged to utilise this Community Day to gain high-IV Tinkatink and evolve it to take full advantage of the new move.
