An hour ago, a lovely message appeared on social media. It was from Prince William’s and Catherine’s three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. They were wishing their dad a Happy Father’s Day.
Their post said, “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day” and was signed “G, C & L.” The message included a picture of Prince William on the beach with his arm around the children. The photo was taken by Catherine and is from their trip to the Norfolk coast, a place in England, last month.
This is the first time we’ve seen a personal post from the royal children on social media. Their father, Prince William, had also posted a Happy Father’s Day message to his dad, King Charles III. He shared an old photo where he was just a little boy playing football with his father.
Besides the messages, the royal family also shared footage of King Charles as a child with his father, Prince Philip. The video had a nice piano tune and showed their happy moments together. Prince Philip passed away in 2021.
These posts come a day after the Queen’s official birthday, a big event in the UK called Trooping the Colour. So this was certainly a special weekend for the royal family.
