SpaceX expects to make $26.5 trillion from the artificial intelligence (AI) sector. The company believes that $22.7 trillion of this will come from AI for businesses. SpaceX plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) this summer. They aim for a valuation of about $1.75 trillion and want to raise $75 billion. This would be the largest IPO ever.
Recently, SpaceX landed its Falcon booster for the 600th time during a Starlink mission. This mission added 25 new satellites to its low Earth orbit. The Starlink network now has more than 10,200 satellites.
For this launch, SpaceX used a Falcon 9 booster that had flown seven times before. A little over eight minutes after takeoff, it landed on the drone ship named “Of Course I Still Love You.” It was the 191st landing on this ship. Another ship, called “Just Read the Instructions,” will now help with the Starship program.
Blue Origin also had news with its New Glenn rocket. They successfully landed their booster after its third flight, which was a big achievement. However, they soon reported a problem with the second stage. The rocket did not deliver its satellite to the correct orbit, and it fell back to Earth. This issue could delay Blue Origin’s plans when NASA needs their rocket for the Artemis Program.
