A major change is happening in South Korea’s entertainment industry. Park Jin-young, who started JYP Entertainment, is working with the government. They plan to create big cultural events around the world. One event will be a large festival to compete with famous American music festivals.
Park spoke about his plans in a meeting in Seoul. He wants to turn fans into a strong global community. This will help South Korea’s economy and culture. Park believes this can also connect young people worldwide.
The main event is called the Fanomenon Festival. It will last eleven days and start in December 2027. It is meant to be a Korean version of major Western music festivals. The event will take place in modern venues in Seoul, with many music styles and activities.
This project also includes building K-Culture Centers in many countries. These centers will help promote South Korean culture. The government hopes the festival will bring 520,000 visitors and create over 680 million dollars for the economy.
