Bill Maher spoke about claims Donald Trump made about their dinner in April. Maher called Trump’s statements “bulls—.” He also said he did not understand a joke Trump made about Canada and China.
On his show Real Time, Maher shared his thoughts on Trump’s angry comments. Trump was upset that Maher did not get his China joke about hockey. Maher explained that Trump’s words on social media were long and harsh.
Trump said Maher was nervous at dinner and immediately asked for a drink. Maher corrected him, saying he had a margarita, not vodka. He added that he was not scared, calling Trump’s claims wrong.
Trump thought Maher was respectful after the dinner. However, Maher continued to criticize him on his show. Maher said he would talk more about this when Real Time returns on March 6. He wants to show that he does not have "Trump Derangement Syndrome," which means being very angry about Trump without reason.
