Bravo’s decision to stay: Why they’re not going anywhere

Share

Comcast has split its TV networks into two groups. NBC and Bravo will stay with Comcast. Peacock and TV studios will also stay with Comcast. Other networks like USA, Syfy, and E! will move to a new company called SpinCo. SpinCo will be led by Mark Lazarus.

The decision was made based on streaming. NBC and Bravo have popular shows on Peacock. They have a deal to show their content on Peacock the next day. Bravo is known for live events like BravoCon.

Changes will happen in NBCUniversal’s entertainment division. Some staff may lose their jobs. A transition agreement will help SpinCo start operating smoothly. Current NBCUniversal executives will oversee both sides for now.

SpinCo will focus on building its own team and content. They may invest in more shows in the future. They could partner with other companies like Warner Bros Discovery or Paramount. Changes will happen slowly and carefully.
