George Clooney and Family Become French Citizens

PARIS (AP) — Meet Mr. and Mrs. Clooney.

The French government says that George Clooney, his wife Amal, and their twins, Ella and Alexander, now have French citizenship.

The news was shared last weekend in an official government publication. Amal is known as Amal Alamuddin. George’s middle name is Timothy.

In 2021, the Clooneys bought a home in France. George said he wants their children to enjoy a normal life away from Hollywood.

He believes living in France gives them a better life. “They have dinner with adults and do chores,” he said.

George is learning French, but he finds it hard. His family speaks it well. They live quietly in a beautiful village.

The local mayor says the Clooneys are friendly and love their new home.
