Hulu has confirmed that the drama series “Tell Me Lies” will have a third season. It stars Grace Van Patten and Jackson White. The program is made by 20th Television and is very popular. Its creator, Meaghan Oppenheimer, has agreed to work with Disney Television Studios on other shows as well.
This news comes just two months after the ending of the second season. The last episode, like the first season’s ending, had a dramatic moment that could change the characters’ friendships.
“Tell Me Lies” has been very popular on Hulu, especially with young people. The number of followers grew over four times higher thanks to the second season.
Oppenheimer will also make, write, and manage new shows with 20th Television. Karey Burke, the President of 20th Television, said that it is fantastic to work with her.
The second season of “Tell Me Lies” shows Lucy Albright (played by Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (played by White) having a difficult time due to a breakup. The show indicates how hard it is to pull away from an unhealthy relationship.
The series is based on a book by Carola Lovering. Oppenheimer is also working on other shows, including a romantic comedy named “Second Wife”.
Oppenheimer has thanked the team at 20th Television for their support and states she’s excited to work on other projects. She is represented by CAA and Yorn Levine Barnes.
