WWE stars Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Roxanne Perez were involved in a serious backstage incident before WrestleMania 42, which took place in Las Vegas. The event escalated when Vaquer attacked Morgan while she was speaking to Perez. Vaquer pushed Morgan into Perez and then threw her against a television.
Though it looked like a common scripted moment to build their rivalry over the Women’s World Championship, both Morgan and Perez ended up with noticeable bumps on their heads. Following the altercation, Morgan sustained a black eye after another attack from Vaquer on “Monday Night Raw.”
WWE star Alba Fyre, who performs on the SmackDown brand, highlighted that this incident shows the reality of professional wrestling. She remarked, “We do live stunts. You can’t rehearse for what we do,” emphasising the dangers involved in their performances. Fyre noted that the injuries sustained by Morgan and Perez illustrate how quickly things can go wrong.
Vaquer is currently in her first reign as women’s world champion after winning the title at Wrestlepalooza in November. Meanwhile, Morgan qualified to challenge Vaquer at WrestleMania after winning the women’s Royal Rumble match.
Vaquer is set to make her WrestleMania debut this Saturday, adding further anticipation to the event.
