Hyundai Motor Group Unveils Cutting-Edge Technology and Creative Marketing at Cannes Lions Festival

Hyundai Motor and Kia have unveiled their innovative Nano Cooling Film, designed to keep vehicle interiors cool in hot weather. This special film can reduce the temperature by up to 10°C without darkening the windows, thus cutting down on energy consumption used for cooling. The film, made up of three layers, works by radiating heat outwards and reflecting incoming heat, ultimately lowering the overall heat that enters the car.

This technology was first introduced in Lahore, Pakistan, where extreme heat and window tinting laws are common issues. Despite these challenges, Hyundai Motor provided over 70 vehicles with Nano Cooling Film for free as part of their ‘Made Cooler By Hyundai’ initiative. The success of this initiative in Pakistan has emphasized Hyundai Motor’s commitment to progress and social responsibility. Attendees at the presentation praised the use of technology to address real-world problems.
