Pacific Drive, the quirky four-wheeled survival game, has hit a major milestone by selling 600K copies. To celebrate, developer Ironwood Studios has released a series of content updates for the rest of the year. The first update, which is now live, includes a new photo mode that allows players to document their travels through the anomaly-filled forests of the Olympic Exclusion Zone. The mode offers various camera settings and filters, along with the ability to adjust weather conditions and time of day.
Additionally, players can now enjoy the new Juke Jet car ability for dodging and drifting, as well as two new upgrade nodes in the garage. A performance mode has been introduced for the PS5 version of the game, along with new points of interest and worldbuilding details in Junctions, a Coastal Highway map, and new cosmetic items.
Looking ahead, players can expect more updates throughout the year, including new difficulty modes, game customisation settings, and cosmetics. The game is currently on sale for £14.99 on PS5 and PC, so now is a great time to experience the “exhausting, oddly lovable nightmare” that Pacific Drive has to offer.
