A 1973 Ferrari 246 Dino GTS is going to be sold in an auction soon. It once belonged to Peter Grant, the manager of the famous music band Led Zeppelin. This car has only been used to travel 1,007 miles. It is one of 235 similar cars that were sold in the UK between 1972 and 1974. The car was given to Grant in 1973 and has a ‘Rosso Bordeaux’ color and brown leather seats.
Peter Grant owned this car for about three years. He then sold it to someone else. This car has been taken good care of over the years. There are documents that show money has been used to fix parts of the car like the brakes and radiator. But, the wheels and controls are still the same from when it was first made.
This car is being sold by a company called Car & Classic. The auction starts on February 22 and ends on February 29. The car is expected to sell for between £275,000 and £350,000. People from Car & Classic say that this car is not just special because of its model but also because it is a piece of music history linked to Led Zeppelin.
