A Delaware judge in charge of a lawsuit against Elon Musk has been mentioned in a LinkedIn search by his lawyers. Musk’s lawyers want Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick to step down from the case. They say she has shown bias against him by reacting to a LinkedIn post that criticises him.
The lawsuit is from Tesla shareholders. They say Musk lied about selling his Tesla shares before he bought Twitter in 2022, which helped him make money illegally. Musk denies doing anything wrong.
On Tuesday, his lawyers noted that McCormick reacted to a post from a lawyer who won a different case against Musk. She chose to show “Support” instead of just “Like.” This means she took more effort in her reaction.
McCormick’s LinkedIn account seems to be turned off now. The judge said she did not remember seeing the post. She also said she reported strange activity on her account. McCormick has previously ruled against Musk in two other important cases.
