The April 5 episode of “Marshals” marked a year since Monica’s death. This event brought strong feelings for Kayce and Tate. It also featured a familiar face from “Yellowstone.”
The episode continued directly from last week, where Kayce faced criticism for returning Hayley to traffickers. Thomas Rainwater accused Kayce of betraying their girls, while Tate hurt him with a comment about honouring Monica. With Broken Rock’s annual memorial coming up, Kayce needed to find the missing girls quickly.
Kayce showed determination as the Marshals went to a bar known for Iron Sentinels, a gang described as a “mafia on wheels.” To speed things up, Kayce took bold action by setting their motorcycles on fire, which drew the gang out. This allowed the Marshals to retrieve important information from a gang member’s phone. They then discovered the gang’s rally, where the missing girls were likely held.
After some effort, including disguising Belle as a biker, the girls were found in time to attend the memorial ceremony.
Kayce’s arrival at the ceremony included a touching reunion with Monica’s grandfather, Felix Long. Felix expressed joy in seeing Kayce, saying it made him feel less alone. Thomas Rainwater also welcomed Kayce warmly, acknowledging Monica’s impact. In an emotional moment, Kayce decided to let go of Monica’s necklace, marking the end of an important chapter.
