The game Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream will come to the Nintendo Switch 2. There are some small improvements for this version.
Nintendo shared details in a new FAQ. The game content will be the same as before. However, it will run faster on the Switch 2. Players with a Switch Online membership can use GameChat.
The game will also show images in higher quality. It will have a resolution of 1080p in handheld mode. But it will not use the Switch 2’s Handheld Mode Boost feature.
Joy-Con 2 mouse controls are not included. But some parts of the game will allow touch controls. This includes making your character, called Mii, and using the Palette House workshop.
You can find more information in the FAQ on Nintendo’s website. Each player can save their own game and create up to 70 Miis. The demo is available now, and the full game will be out on 16th April 2026.
